Introducing the perfect treat for summer picnics, lunch boxes, tea time....
The new Divine Chocolate bakery range now includes mini versions of the Divine muffins, chocolate chip cookies and brownies in bags of six – the perfect way of indulging in these delicious high-chocolate treats just a little at a time! The new packs, in the distinctive black and gold Divine livery, carry the Fairtrade Mark guaranteeing a fair deal for cocoa farmers and will be available from April in Waitrose (RRP £1.99 per bag).
Divine Chocolate Ltd, the leading Fairtrade company co-owned by 45,000 cocoa farmers who make up the Kuapa Kokoo cooperative, has worked with an expert bakery team to create the first Divine range of bakery products. The three new products are made with the acclaimed Divine 70% dark chocolate, giving an exceptionally rich and indulgent flavour. Perfect for sharing but equally tempting to hoard - we dare you to stop at just one!
With a high percentage of Divine 70% chocolate, Divine Mini Chocolate Muffins are moist and rich, giving you that heavenly chocolate experience. Divine Mini Brownies have been created using an authentic American-style recipe making them crumbly on the outside and fudgy on the inside. And if you’re more of a cookie monster, our premium Mini Cookies have a soft crumbly texture and are just perfect for that mid-afternoon chocolate fix!
Each pack contains six bite-size treats and comes elegantly packaged in an upright paper bag decorated with gold Adinkra symbols – the traditional symbols giving a clue to Divine’s Ghanaian roots. Every time you indulge in one of these tempting mouthfuls you are not only guaranteed a truly Divine taste-trip, but are also assured that thousands of cocoa farmers will be receiving a fairer and more empowering deal.
The miniature bakery products are an exciting addition to Divine’s fast expanding range – a fabulous way to experience the acclaimed 70% dark Divine chocolate combined with a Fairtrade assurance. Divine Chocolate has unique ethical credentials because it not only pays the Fairtrade price for its cocoa, it is actually co-owned by Kuapa Kokoo, the Ghanaian cocoa farmers cooperative that supplies all Divine’s cocoa. So the farmers contributing to your chocolate experience get a share in Divine profits too.
